For over 25 years, I have had the opportunity to assist individuals and families with their unique financial goals and dreams. I consider it a responsibility and a privilege to be my clients’ advocate, looking out for their best interests. A personalized plan addresses the specific issues and concerns critical to making wise financial decisions. It is my commitment to provide those I serve with the education, advice, and service they need to build a comprehensive, effective plan.

I've been married to my best friend, Lisa, for nearly 30 years.  We have two sons, a daughter-in-law and a beautiful granddaughter.  Our youngest son is finishing college and our oldest is a financial advisor here at Lakeshore Financial Group. Now that Lisa and I are members of the "empty nest" club, we are finding ourselves amid a different kind of busy. We enjoy traveling, time at the lake, stargazing, hiking, discussing the latest book and spending time with our family. We profoundly enjoy this new phase of our marriage: pursuing an intentional life and freeing ourselves from the endless distractions of this digital age.

I am an Investment Adviser Representative and General Securities Representative of Commonwealth Financial Network®. My registrations include FINRA Series 6 (Investment Company Products/Variable Contracts), Series 7 (General Securities Representative), Series 24 (Registered Securities Principal), Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law), and Series 66 (Uniform Combined State Law). I am also licensed for life and health insurance.

I am a past president of the Grand Rapids Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors. I earned my BA in business communications from Calvin University and I hold the Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) designation.

One way that we feel led to help transform our world, is through giving. A few of the organizations that we actively support: Cure International and Alpha Grand Rapids, as well as other local and national organizations. Part of our ongoing mission is to encourage others to be active in their community and to help those in need.
